For more than 10 years Latvia and the Baltic region have been acknowledged as a film area with great English-speaking crews, skilled technicians and production services of the highest standards.

There are sound stages, crafted and experienced art directors and construction managers. SFX departments provide anything from floor effects like rain or snow to mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic effects, animatronics and pyrotechnics of any complexity. There are several stunt teams with various experiences including wind turbine flying and stunts.

WB, HBO and Netflix have already filmed in the Baltic region. Working here is just like working in any other major production centre – professional and efficient. The costs are extremely competitive.

Casting

Diverse English and Russian speaking actors, models and special characters

Caucasian, Scandinavic, Germanic, British and Slavic looking talent. Decent ethnic casting. Good for shooting with large crowds. Flexible regulations for working with children. A-class stunts, martial arts and medieval fighters with ammunition. Athletes and parkour artists. Dancers and choreographers. Orchestras, musicians, choirs. Horses and otner trained animals with handlers.

Locations

Latvia offers a variety of previously unseen classic European, medieval and Soviet-era locations, pristine nature with its pine and leaf forests and wild sandy beaches

Here you will find industrial areas and seaport locations, medieval towns, 18th century castles and mansions, secret Soviet undreground bunkers, huge satelite antenna and other marvels. You can cheat for Paris, Berlin, Vienna or Moscow.

Obtaining permits for shooting and road closures is a simple, hassle-free process with minimal red tape. There are no “over-booked” locations, so you always have a great element of control.
